CAVE JOMBLANG CONTINUED TIMANG BEACH

Early morning departs from hotel, we will drive through the cliff of Bukit Bintang for the city view. Jomblang cave is situated at the southeast of Yogyakarta on the limestone hill range. Limestone hill is typically dry, and we may find underground river.

One of those caves is jomblang and pindul. Jomblang is categorized a vertical cave. We will go down at the bottom of the cave by raping. Harness and all equipment are provided. What you need to do is just sitting down and hold the rope since the local people there will lower you down with rope. The view of the cave is extraordinary. the entrance of the cave is just like in the Jurassic Park movie. wild vegetation beneath the earth. and particularly the heave light that you can see from the grubug cave. This activity takes half day. People should go down 2 by 2 in line.

After visiting Jomblang cave, keep on going to visit Timang Beach. It is one of the many tourist beaches in Yogyakarta. The name may not be too popular among tourists, like Indrayanti  or Nglambor beach, but it is interesting and attractive.

The name “Timang” is taken from a big boulder that breaks the waves which is located in the middle of this ocean. This bif boulder is called Timang Island. Timang island becomes the main attraction for tourists. Because there is Gondola or kind of cable car that can be used to cross Timang island. This Gondola was made in 1997 and was used by the fishermen who wanted to look for seafood such as lobster to cross the ocean because it was imposile for them to reach that island on boat since the waves and the sea water stream are heavy. Finally, this gondola was created to facilitate them in finding lobsters.
